News from the Principal's Office:
New procedure for emergencies involving threats to safety from natural disasters
We are introducing a new system to allow more efficient notification to parents of the school’s status in the event of threat from a natural disaster. Families have now been placed in clusters according to home address. A volunteer Area Coordinator will serve as the main communication between the families in each cluster and the school in the event of the need to close the school. You should have heard from your Area Coordinator by now. Please let the Reception Desk know if you do not know which cluster you are in or have not been contacted by your Cluster Leade.
New Attendance Policy for Secondary School students
A new policy on Student Attendance now applies to students in the Secondary School Section. Please make sure that you know what the policy says and means for your son/daughter.
School Fees and Financial Assistance
May I respectfully remind all parents that school fees were due on the first day of the school term. If you wish to settle your account by transferring funds directly to the school’s account this is now possible:
a. In GB Pounds
b. In Euros
c. In US Dollars
please ask the Finance Office for account details in order to make your transfer, and please make arrangements to settle your account promptly. Those families that receive financial assistance are reminded that prompt settlement of the parental portion of fees is required no later than the end of the 30 day grace period the school permits for all payments. For this term the cut off date is September 30, 2008.
