New procedure for emergencies involving threats to safety from natural disasters
We will be introducing a new scheme to hopefully, allow more efficient notification to parents of the school’s status in the event of threat from a natural disaster. Families will be placed in clusters according to home address and a volunteer Area Coordinator will serve as the main communication between the families and the school in the event of the need to close the school. You will be provided with full details by your Area Coordinator within the next few days. A thanks to the parent volunteers who have offered to help with this.

New Attendance Policy for Secondary School students
We will be introducing a new policy on Student Attendance in the Secondary School Section. This policy was shared with you at the end of the last academic year and comes into effect immediately. A copy will be sent to parents of Students in the Secondary Section once again, in the very near future and the policy will also appear in the Parent Student Handbook.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE SCHOOL GATES OPEN AT 7:50 A.M.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THE SCHOOL TO PROVIDE SUPERVISION OF THE STUDENTS IN THE SCHOOL YARD BEFORE 7.50 A.M. AND THEREFORE THE GATES REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL THEN.
IT IS IMPERATIVE FOR THE SCHOOL THAT PROPER SUPERVISION IS AVAILABLE WHENEVER STUDENTS ARE ON THE SCHOOL PREMISES. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORT.
