Expatriate teaching positions for 2008-2010

Lower School
A rise in student enrollment has created a position for a Lower School Homeroom Teacher to take up position in August 2008. The contract available is for 2 years renewable by mutual agreement. Applications now closed.

Secondary School
At the moment we have no expatriate teacher positions available within the Secondary School (Grade 6 to Grade 12) It is not anticipated that a vacancy will arise for academic year 2008-2009 as all current staff will remain under contract until July 2009.

General Information

The school offers two year contracts renewable by mutual agreement.
The school's language of instruction is English.
Previous experience in an International School is an advantage.
Previous experience with I.S.H.'s international curricula is also a distinct advantage.

Applications should be directed to the Principal as soon as possible and must include:

• a cover letter
• a copy of the applicant's Curriculum Vitae (with photo)
• citizenship/passport(s) held
• electronic copies of academic degree qualifications
• electronic copies of teaching qualifications
• the names and contact addresses - preferably email - of three references writers

Applications will be designated incomplete and not considered for shortlisting until all requested documentation is submitted.

Specific curriculum experience in the school's academic programmes - International Primary Curriculum for the Primary School and IGCSE and IB in the Secondary School is always an advantage.
Additionally the ability to teach more than one subject gives a candidate an advantage.
