“Bread Winners” is a very good book about a girl named Parvana who lived in Pakistan while the Taliban was there. The Taliban were people who thought that women did not deserve education or rights. Parvana’s family needed a way to buy food and go out so they dressed Parvana up as a boy. Her family shaved her hair and made her look like a boy. Her sister was getting married outside of the town where Parvana lived, so she couldn’t

go. Then she found out that her whole family lived there so Parvana and her father went there to look for her family, even though they might have been killed by the Taliban.
I would recommend this book for everybody from 7years old, up. It’s a very interesting book!
