CHILDREN'S DAY

International Children’s Day is officially celebrated on the 1st of June and is a holiday set to honour the rights of children and minors. In our school we celebrate this event in November, and naturally it is a celebration that is very important to our community. Children’s Day is an important day to distinguish because not only does it recognize the basic rights of those who are unable to fully demand them, but it also recognizes the importance of children and their well-being for creating a better future.

In our school we celebrate this day as we usually do with an assembly, promoting the rights of children and minors. There are also various activities organized that vary from year to year to unite the children of our school together and to educate them about the why this day is so important, for there are still children in the world that struggle to attain basic human rights and dignities.
