Academic Management

The Principal

Mr. Ian Morris B.Sc. [Econ], P.G.C.S.E., M.A. is a graduate of the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth (U.K.) and the University of Alabama (U.S.A.). He was a teacher and administrator at schools in the U.K., Jamaica, Ethiopia and El Salvador before joining the I.S.H.. He became Principal of the I.S.H. in 1999.

Head of Secondary School

Mr. Richard Fluit, MA in K-12 Educational Administration of Michigan State University (U.S.A), First Degree in Math Education of Hogeschool Midden Nederland (Netherlands) and Bsc. Physics and Mathematics of the Stichting Opleiding Leraren (Netherlands). He was a teacher and administrator at various schools in the Netherlands, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, as well as a teacher trainer before joining I.S.H. He became Head of Secondary School in 2004.

Head of Lower School

Mrs. Georgie Schofield, B. Teach, B. Ed (Hons), M Ed in International Education, has been an international teacher for 11 years. She has taught in Lao PDR, Thailand and Jordan, holding administrative positions in Lao and Jordan before joining ISH. She was appointed Head of Lower School in 2011.
